This diamond cup was originally born to satisfy the needs of tilers and masons but it immediately became popular also in the world of hydraulics. Although the aesthetic aspect is almost identical to other similar products, the performances are clearly superior thanks to the use of high quality synthetic diamonds' and above all to a specific production process cared in every detail. Attention to the production process is crucial for Montolit and the installer because it allows to have product with maximum and constant performance over time, even between different lots. The Mondrillo FS diamond burs are now also a reference for some of the most important ceramic companies in the world that suggest this specific product with low vibrations to avoid installation problems on site. In terms of use, these diamond cups must be applied on grinders (flexible) with an ideal rotation speed from 8,000 rpm to 11,000 rpm. It is also essential to drill with an undulating movement in order to reduce the overheating of the cutter. In this regard, numerous videos are available on the Montolit Youtube Channel (Montolit Tiling Tools). A frequent question with respect to this type of diamond cutter for tiling or plumbing is the number of holes that can be made. It is impossible to give a valid answer for all situations because the maximum number of holes is strictly related to factors such as: thickness of the tile, hardness, speed of rotation of the tool, pressure exerted by the tiler, use of the technique of correct cutting etc. However, if we want to give an indicative number, we can state that a Mondrillo FS 35 mm Diameter Cutter diameter used correctly by a professional tiler on a 7 mm thick porcelain stoneware tile is able to make several dozens of holes up to peaks of 50 holes and much more.
